Comfort food for thought

Universal peace and greetings to one and all on this small blue ball in the Universe called Earth. This is Cee aka Omegasun aka Today I Get the Job Done hitting you one mo'  gen (yes...countrified) one mo' gen with Omegasunslight. This episode will be concise followed by a small "Layeth the smacketh on" arrangement for your pleasure. So now. Please, walk with me.
I have put together another "vision board" to highlight my inspirations  and hone in on my aspirations. For those are not familiar with the "vision board" concept, its when you creatively put together your own selected pictures, words, phrases, even drawings that you wish to enter your life. You collage these messages on cardboard or plyboard and visualize. Meditate on thus board to absorb the "bigger picture". Well, on my board, I placed a phrase I found in a travel magazine. It says "redefining my comfort zone". I look at that part the most and attempt to study the question I ask myself. "What is my comfort zone?" I have an idea. It is doing the things that you normally..nah scratch that. Doing the things you routinely do in the same way, with the same energy. I scratched normally out because I would normally keep the word "normal" in. (Work with me please) But I'm attempting to break out and redefine my comfort zone. I taking careful stock of my habits and I'm peeling away that which is unproductive and unconducive to the breaking of the normal. What will be put in its place will be the redefining. It is more than just a "where do I see myself" contemplation. It is more of a "what do I see IN myself question". This is entirely up to the vision that you have of yourself. So, now I might just bust out smiling just to brighten a dull moment. Now I might walk an extra block or two (oww to my feet) just to get the body moving. Yes, many are in the body fitness craze I admire that passion. But what is it to have a great body and the soul is empty. The exercise for that I'm seeing is to worry less, or rather be not too cynical. (I'm a Pisces sign, go figure) Smile and laugh more. Touch nature and be filled with it. Embrace your shortcomings and discard that which dissipates your positive energy. Change is extremely difficult ( I'm stubborn so I definitely know) and you may have to give up that which you love and admire if it doesn't produce positive energy for the better. (Sacrifice). Your inhibitions and doubts must be conquered with faith and love, a strong love that may be confused by others as sternness. Breaking your comfort zone at first is uncomfortable but imagoes the infinite possibilities in redefining it. ( for the interior decorators at heart.) A good key I learned from a solid elder. The word "heart" and "earth". Same word just rearranged and redefined. (Anagrammatic spelling kid!). To be the Lord of your "Earth" (landlord) you have to be the Lord of your "Heart". Cool huhn. Now to laying the smiddack down...
This goes out to the Government of the Municipal Corporation known as the City of Detroit (shout to the D-town) What once was the engine of America, almost literally, is now in Chapter 9 bankruptcy. All that and "the peoples" be saying (yeah I said be saying) that our credit is funny. When outsourcing so many manufacturing jobs overseas for cheaper labor, what do you think would happen to Detroit and the exportation of manufactured goods in the U.S. It has leveled the economy and dropped the population from roughly 2 mil to a little over 780 thousand. Houses are dilapidated and the Detroit Lions Stadium which cost a little over 55 mil to build was sold for a little over half a million. Laborers for the city have to live on just their pensions alone which will take a cut because Detroit doesn't have a contributing social security program. The police and other emergency services took hits and made the response time longer. Almost an hour after a call. The look is toward privatization, and I hope we all are paying attention because this is ripe territory. For thieves and the progressive. It would be a great model to use to rebuild mom & pop businesses, recirculating dollars among the people and not major corporations. We can police ourselves ( a brother can dream) and little by little build up the property and Parks, museums and monuments ( Detroit has great architecture) for the public. For the people, by the people. And notice I didn't mention any "race". There's no running unless its away from poverty. And we have to run together. Do it now before Monsanto, Lockheed Martin or one of those whales swallow up what's left of the old America and spit out bones of despair and a real Robocop walking the Monsanto Metropolis.  Redefining the comfort zone, starting with self, home, street, community, city, state, country, nation. I'm Omegasun...and I approve this message. Thanks for reading through, I wish you all safe travels and success. Please follow, (but be leaders) comment, rate, email, holla, do something or just smile. Check out the MCA opportunity at your leisure and tell a friend to tell a friend, if you like what you read (yaaa)  Live fully, love freely and be rich. Owww!
