Afro-Indian Question: Before We Get to First Peoples of the Americas

This is from a 2010 article done by Katy June-Friesen about researcher one Angela Walton-Raaji's personal experience in uncovering the topic of American Indian and Africans of the maafa (the kidnapping) tracing her family geneology and met with a few dynamics between the interactions. Many of the people darker than blue tend to conflate data in an effort to promote a paradigm or destroy another without fully unpacking the nuances that may affect their conclusion. We leave out assimilation because of cultural similarities, social interactions leading to marriage, some just having babies, escaping enslaved Africans and freed people seeking refuge, (the whole seminole experience and part of the "cherokee" dialogue that needs further study) and the most uncomfortable position of all out and out enslavement of African people freed and seeking freedom by American Indian tribes. Some for cultural absorption to get free and aide the closest ally they can and unfortunately also being exploited by native oppression. I personally have Indian blood in my family from the southern regions of Georgia and the Carolinas. I've been told Creek, Chickapee, Blackfeet and most importantly Seminole. But as you see none of these are one of the "5 civilized tribes" accepted by the Dawes commission. Slow Motion Better Than....

Do you trust the process times 3? When your patience is tested, you're busted and disgusted, frustrated from failed deadlines and incomplete projects. This is where your grit is to be verified. The step back and learn method is humbling because for so long you have your head in the game, in the challenge and when you do look up the last thing you want to see is an error. THIS IS A DEFINING MOMENT. The part of the choose-your-adventure book where you either go on to the next page or flip to page 8, then 21 to see the fate of that decision. That's always been my favorite part of those books. Mostly because you have a choice to change things. It wasn't linear. The story could go longer or stop short but it was in your hands. This must be the lesson learned. The choice is in your hands. The fact you moved in this direction to have sometime if control of your destiny is very honorable. It was stated by Earl Nightinggale, one of the first self-development counselors that the cemetery is the richest place in the world because that's where the fortune of dreams are buried. Dr. Wayne Dyer says don't die with your song still in you. With that, your attempt to do more, learn more, be more is very valuable and says much about you. Breaking the Barriers

Guard against resting on prior accomplishments. They are great reference points to observe how far you have come but can do two things that can be detrimental to your next surge.
1. It can "rock you to sleep".
What does that mean you ask. It is when you are so satisfied with the results of your labor that even with the respect for your process you don't go back to tweak things or adjust to the next level of work that is needed. You may see nothing wrong in the process so much you expect the same results or even greater for the same effort toward a new goal. I've learned hard that things have to change. Better and even more productive habits must surface in order to solidify what worked and take away that which slowed progress. Setting new goals are great and can bring a new development program to reach but if you follow the same process, the incline can be much more challenging than when you began.
2. Overconfidence. Now you have been to the mountain top and wish to tell everyone of the new law that is YOUR trial, not so fast buddy. All results may vary and people have different circumstances making the same strides with the same information bring infinite possibilities. I've passed by people that may have brought my business motives to astronomical heights just because I was overconfident. I had to understand some take a bit more time and attention sure but I am so adamant about not "babying" anyone. I'm sorry. We are building a professional atmosphere and yes, if it is something you are not used to, the learning comes with a curve. Yet, just as in your job, there comes a time where your independent effort is mandatory and depending on your skill set, necessary. I'm humbled knowing this and have dedicated myself to approach this more intently with those who think owning their own business and managing cash flow to asset is the most difficult study in the world. At times it is! These are alien concepts to us that were raised in this scholastic system. We have deprived of civic studies, basic law, real estate, money management and a plethora of other classes that help in adulthood and some downright necessary. Until that is corrected, you will see services that ask for a fee from each of these disciplines. In this we must understand another golden rule: the more you learn, the more you earn. Luxury and only comes from the creative mind. A being using its skill to enhance the environment around them and provide a new twist on the objects available to them is expression of the consciousness. Once that is supressed, conformity ensues. The life of conformity is control. Specifically, against the progression of the consciousness and rhythm of the soul. Ideas vibe off of other ideas and formed enough can build a vision. Selfish Politics

The personal agendas being fulfilled by the current level of political waves are daunting to the average American. Yes it makes for good political theater but let's observe this in the long run. The obvious draw is for money. Big time lobbies who rarely express concern for the constituents they claim to want to "protect" or "give a civil liberty" out to advance in the name of their dear party. We don't really grasp how illogical some of these stances become in an effort to defend the party's values. For instance, the Democratic stance of balancing and checking the Republican side has been based on critiquing performance rather than developing fresh and innovative ideals of what would be "progressives" also known as the far left. Meanwhile the callous ways of the Republican party conducting "see no evil, hear no evil" politics make the whole party seem like enablers to vicious, stoic, tyrants who have peculiarly weaved in and out of controversial stances that separate the have from the have nots. It is clearly clash, cash and burn political theater for the masses. The position of power is in local government and the sprout of youthful, energy in both parties. The dinosaurs have to retire in the pastures and campaign finance must be more constructively regulated. Give the people a fighting chance if they are competent and passionate to bring the interests of the people manifest without interruption nor interaction from the large corrup.... From the Power of the Seed, Bear Fruit

It started simple. Two turntables. Crates of records. Huge speakers, make it several. Most you had to build. A mixer, receiver, amps and countless cords. A fan to cool things down as you see. Maybe, MAYBE a mic. You might have a megaphone instead. Run the main cord to the nearest outlet sometimes the light post for power. Rope off the DJ section. You didn't carry a crate, know anybody over there, distribute flyers, or just was crew, you wasn't getting back there! Most of this stuff was acquired through the "five fingered discount" method. What am I missing??? The vibe of the people and the spirit to rock a fresh jam in the park. It was a seed of culture blissfully blossoming into a mighty tree all its own with many branches. Sure others came to contribute to its growth and nurture it. Mostly finding their natural selves blending in with branches, trunk even the roots but that seed man. That seed power all its own. Path of Faith

I'm was going through a complicated time for my mind to traverse. It required much contemplation and meditation to calm the sea of thoughts flooding my mood. Its of an intimate nature so I wish not to discuss it but I did feel the affect change the very way I viewed the circumstances. Then I remembered the phrase "Peace. Be still and know I am the Lord. " Now, my view of a higher power is not subscribed of any religion but I feel is the essence of spirituality. The essence of the divine breath we all share and the vital elements necessary to survive and thrive. All existing in a meticulous balance. Some say it's from a higher being, an unseen force that can't be seen but many know is male (another conversation for another time) but the power of faith is the important jewel in the message. Faith doesn't ask your opinion of it. Faith doesn't tell you to label it something other than what it is. So what is faith? Substance of things hoped for, evidence of things not seen but there's more, at least in my opinion. The source of faith comes from an existing consciousness of hope. What is hope? The prospect of positive energy for present and future activity. We can HOPE that we have enough FAITH to endure and fix our conditions. That is what will empower your thought, emotions and feelings to propel your plans. I had to slow down my speculations and apply faith. Now, faith doesn't ask you to explain how it works to others nor can can you ask how it works for yourself. The goal is to apply it to secure more positive energy in your path. Faith is the key to higher vibration. The initiate has to have faith in the master's teaching in order to share the vision of the study. I heard a multi millionaire leader in our Facebook live sit downs, Mr. Brian Beane say "the further you can see, the further you can go." It resonated with me and for the first time in a loooong time, I jogged 5 miles. For weeks I would stop before 4.20 or just do 4. I could not see doing 5 miles. Not just yet. But just letting that play in my heart for a little bit added vision. With that vision, I wasn't afraid to go to the 5th mile. It is those times where FAITH kicks in and takes the wheel. So that is my understanding. Hope it reaches you in the best of health, wellness, and happiness. Mental Health Reassurance

Definitely in this world and in many societies, the strain of living with unattended trauma weighs heavy on those who feel boxed in. they begin to express themselves with feelings of isolation, awkwardness, pain, mood swings, harmful self medication, etc hoping at times that it will magically go away or even the worst case scenario, removing themselves from picture. This solves nothing and actually adds to the monster that needs to be fought, the depression. The sadness of it all if allowed to go on unaddressed may consume everyone involved. All the loved ones you have may be effected but this not about them at the moment. This is about YOU. Did you know you are not alone? Did you know there are people willing to reach out and make connections to help you back on the road to some wellness. It could be a group, a comforting voice, a relatable story, something, like a rope to help you climb up out of your despair. I haven't met any one who can read a mind so the decision has to be made by the ones most effected by a mental crisis. Yes, it's a hard call. Yes, you may be deemed the evil one. Hated by the very person you are trying to help but if they connect with just a glimpse of what can be possible, just a hint of wellness, it is like opening the curtains for sunshine to come in. We need all the tools we can and care for each other to achieve this and the greatest addition is the awareness of the person knowing they are not alone in the struggle. The Cover Up

After seeing this video it should boost your level of proactive measures of security up. The fact that there are disturbing characters out here looking to use technology to intrude on our privacy for voyeurism and other illicit shameful acts is disgusting. Are we protected, will there be some stuff penalty if caught? What of our children's interaction with the new technology and the vulnerability of just trying to enjoy a friendly game? As the advancements get more detailed around vicarious experiences and fantasy the Pandora's box of unspoken desires start to seep into our society unchecked for the most part. To Come Across A Vibe

I'm big on energy. The flow of activity and attitude of a person is very important. The walk, countenance, posture, mannerisms all are a symphony of communication. Non verbal language, the language of what really wants to be mentioned. It's becoming an almost forgotten art due to our social media consumption and tv/movie perceived miscues that are deemed part of ones "image". I know of the anxiety in talking to people outside of your comfort zone also the relief when the two minds met on common ground. There is still connection and hospitality out here. With that in mind, challenge yourself to compliment someone in "realtime". The likes and shares in the social media experience is cool but there is nothing like the voice, vibration and touch of the human experience. Sensory experience do more the mind than passive communication with no connection. That I feel is the missing element of today's youth but each generation went through something like that. My particular generation is the last one with televisions you had to actually turn on manually. Cars you fixed by hand. Outdoor playground games like tag, stickball, sewer to sewer football, double dutch jumprope, and other games that may only be known in certain circles. In these games you learned a person. You learned things about yourself and mastered different skills. The same happens when we speak with and interact with people today so don't be shy. As I write this, I must take heed myself. I work in a social field and it can be very challenging so when I leave work my desire to interact with people diminishes quickly. I would sometimes shutdown after being "on" all morning. I'm making corrective action now and feel good about the new experiences that may developed. In closing, the personal touch of casual conversation should not be taken for granted. Embrace the uniqueness of your perception and respect the perception of others. Vibe and vibration, very important when the stakes are high.
