In The Face Of New Information
Greeting and prosperity to you who see this and all around you. I know it's been a long while. I had to dig deep in myself for the drive, focus and good old passion to bring this installment to you. I've been in a sort of block recently. I'm learning new things about spirituality and how it connects to finance (yeah...it's real), how to be a more effective communicator, new vantage points on history, etc. The key thing that has molded my thinking is the action taken in the the light of new information. What do you do? Everyone's processing is different which is the sauce of life. How the same thing can happen to people at the same time even in the same way but the behavioral results may vary. This is true unless they have been clumped into group of automstons where you can almost expect the same outcomes. That is unfortunate but back to the matter. There are certain forces that may guide ones reaction to let say a crisis. There are stories of old to now, of those who had this extra strength kick in, or keen instinct that made them supernatural for the moment and evade total harm or help someone else. A force that propel them to break away from the shackles of conformity and blaze a new path. That spirit is extraordinary. I spent the last few months study such marvel acts and works. I read a book a while ago about the nuclear bomb survivors of Hiroshima and was amazed of their stories of survival even from ground zero which is the point of impact. These first person tales of what could've been the last ticks of life and their fight to find loved ones and escape apocalyptic chaos was breathtaking and humbling. We in the comfort of our routines really take for granted how much goes on with impending danger and disarray but that how strong the mind is. It blocks out all the vicious attacks on it and the body. All the things that go bump in the night against the walls of our fragile imagination where only our egotistical version of the creator is the captain of our ship. The power to disseminate the dark dimensions of reality in favor of a more lighted path goes by in a millisecond and this is why we give thanks. But in light of new information, what do you do? Cling to that comfort speck of seek the discovery of this new paradigm's vastness? It is clear many choose the former instead of the latter but I challenge you. Challenge you as I challenge myself to push where prayers answered. Where the forces of infinity and eternity asks YOU the questions and be confident YOU have the answers. YOU say how? Man... (and that definitely includes woman, the force of it all. Well get into that later) oh yeah, man... Know thyself. Thank you for noticing, reading this, liking, and/or sharing. I would love your feedback in comments, questions, criticism. Live fully, love freely and be in wellness.

Creating New Waves
It has been an up & down process of lesson and celebration this first part of the summer. There are great restaurants such as Essex Taqueritas that served up great fresh ingredients and the service was cool. They are located in Manhattan on the Lower East Side. Another great eatery that I was fortunate to go was L.E.S. Kitchen in Lower East Side. They have a great mint lemonade and portabella mushroom burger with red cabbage and meunster cheese. I have been to a great few events that were in some great places in Brooklyn as well. First was Brooklyn Historic Society held by Brooklyn Bodega. It was to be a conversation with Rakim but "the God MC" had an emergency. The festival continued with a Combat Jack Show and Podcast panel discussion. I went to the discussion with Ryan Leslie. Singer, producer & entrepreneur. He was interviewed by Julian Mitchell, columnist at Forbes magazine. It took place in the WeWork building in Dumbo, Brooklyn. Ryan Leslie is a very intelligent brother with wonderful insight and meticulous business mind. Julian's questions were on point and spirited. The value placed on relationships in the talk was very inspiring and rewarding. The weekend started on Friday with a amazing showcase from Dreamville Records and an art exhibit from DJ Sycamore with paintings of B.I.G and Jay Z. The artists were crisp and refreshing. They are of J. Cole's camp. They proved there is a lot of great quality music out here to get a hold of. MCees like Omen, Cozz aka Codi Mack and Bas make the hip hop landscape bountiful with a hopeful light on the horizon. The last day was the concert. The L.O.X from Bad boy and Ruff Ryder label. The enigmatic DMX and finally got to see the God MC, Rakim. I will tell about that in the next entry but the main point of all of this is to show the many wonderful activities of culture, learning and blissful entertainment that is available in NYC. And of course, there is so much more to go. As always, live fully. Love freely and be in step with excitement.

Money for US
As the approach making new foes with the reckless speak of the President takes plave, we must consider how much we indirectly invest in the same campaigns that we don't support. This is why knowing where you money goes and what interests you promote. These things must be carefully vetted. Tupac said they got money for war but can't feed the poor. Nothing has been more true as of late.
